People Shampoos: Shampoo options for different dog 'skin' problems. Dog Shampoos are certainly available but there are some "people shampoos" that are also great. Dry SKin and Soothing: Neutrogena Triple Moisturizing Shampoo [off the market] Any Burt's Bees shampoo that offers to "moisturize" Pantene Pro-V Shampoo and Conditioner Paul Mitchell moisturizing shampoos Mane and Tail moisturizing. Tresemme Moisturizing Shampoo Anything for humans that says "Moisturizing" or "Conditioner" because dog skins dry out SUPER easily. Pantene Pro V conditioner can even be made into a spray for us lazy people! (Yes I figured that out for myself cause I'm lazy that way) Anti-Infective: Our "Universal Medicated Shampoo" Anti-Crust: Neutrogena T-Gel Shampoo Neutrogena T-SAL Shampoo (better) Head and Shoulders For Dry Hair Denorex Selsun Blue Any shampoo based on 2% Coal Tar (harder to find) Antifungal: Several available by prescription. Tresemme Moisturizing Shampoo Is super affordable for a really moisturizing shampoo that will help with the dry skin issues that arise in dogs on low fat diets, in wintertime, or just older dryer skins. This replaces my recommendation for Neutrogena Triple Moisture which is practically off the market. |

Something else I found for my dog "Ajax" that's cool: |
Sporn Dog Halter STOPS "pulling and tugging" NOW. (Link) This is what I use now, with my dog Ajax. I used to use the Gentle Leader, but I didn't like including his face in the thing. Now, this just goes around his chest and he DOES NOT PULL ANY MORE. It's great! Amazon.com has it. | |
| You can buy a fat bundle of 'wet wipes' with Cetaphil and I'd recommend it. They're great for cleaning healing wounds, dirty ears, cleansing around some eyes, under-tails, surgery sites, sores. | |
