Your pet is being medicated for tracheobronchitis / cough.
There are a BUNCH of possible causes for coughing but ONE thing is consistent:
Severe and protracted coughing can do damage to the trachea.
NOT curbing cough when it's noisy and serious can be a bad mistake and there's a medicine that works well to stop it.
Tussigon. (That's a brand name)
It's quite expensive now a days if you can even find it.
So, lately, I'm not AUTOMATICALLY putting everybody on that.
If the cough is getting severe though, PLEASE CALL
CALL ME IF THE COUGH IS SEVERE ENOUGH FOR TUSSIGON (or similar homatropine/hydrocodone cocktail)
