No where in my "stuff" will you find a bone-recommendation that supports or endorses PORK bones and there's a VERY good reason - the walls are SO thin and these bones shatter easily. Not 'splintering' like chicken bones.
You can cut yourself cleaning up these species of bones.
Don't even ACCIDENTALLY give Pork bones to your dog. There's just no "kind" of bone that's good for dogs to chew, at least not compared to BEEF bones.
I wasn't paying attention and I bought what looked like a small beef femur. didn't read a damn thing. And then I noticed Ajax had half finished the bone in an hour. That's not possible with the same bone, FROM A COW.
And in cleaning up the mess, I 'stuck' myself with shards. And I held my breath waiting for Ajax to poop anything but splinters and blood.
He's okay.
BE CAREFUL!!! #recbones #bonesdoc

![]() | Labra Dog Canine K9 Knee Stifle Brace Wrap Metal Hinged Flexible Support Treat ACL CCL Luxating Patella Cruciate Ligament Sprain Strain Tear Injuries I couldn't get behind these until this one came out. It has a strap that keeps the thing from sliding down. THAT strap has a strap that keeps the thing from rolling down off the dog's rump. And the whole thing does NOT wrap around his weiner area (which would have been fine for a female dog of course) so this one has THREE key engineering points. Buy the proper knee brace and put it on tight! |
