Histiocytoma is a pink, plain, round "berry like" mass that grows in the skin. Usually dogs lick them because they itch. Sometimes they go away if you put cortizone on them. (Over the counter hydrocortisone cream)
Usually they do NOT, and they merit removal.
They are UNLIKELY to move from the skin into other internal organs or lungs. But they can. There are cases that have taken years to dive internally.
Very few dogs have ever died from histiocytomas that showed up in the skin.
They don't get very big. But I've seen them up to 15mm
Probably: This will be irritating and licked until it's removed.
In the meantime cortizone cream can be applied a couple times of day. There's a small chance it will regress and not be a 'thing'.
