Puppy Baths:

Puppies get dry skin REALLY easily.
For the 'daily' cleaning as needed, a drippy warm wet washcloth may be the best thing.
Wet washcloth followed by dry washcloth. Easy peasy.
There are also shampoos that you can use:
Most anything by Bert's Bees.
Any Moisturizing shampoo by "Neutrogena"
Pantene moisturizing Conditioner

And Pantene conditioner can be used as a spray.

Whatever you use, RINSE WELL because detergents left in the coat will cause itching.

Wet washcloth is your best friend.

Tresemme Moisturizing Shampoo Is super affordable for a really moisturizing shampoo that will help with the dry skin issues that arise in dogs on low fat diets, in wintertime, or just older dryer skins. This replaces my recommendation for Neutrogena Triple Moisture which is practically off the market.

This is what I use now, with my dog Ajax. I used to use the Gentle Leader, but I didn't like including his face in the thing. Now, this just goes around his chest and he DOES NOT PULL ANY MORE. It's great! Amazon.com has it.

You can buy a fat bundle of 'wet wipes' with Cetaphil and I'd recommend it. They're great for cleaning healing wounds, dirty ears, cleansing around some eyes, under-tails, surgery sites, sores.
